Privacy Policy

Rashi Rumble is a Reddit Devvit game operated through r/rashi_rumble_dev. This policy explains the limited information used to run the game.

Information used

• Reddit supplies an internal Reddit user identifier so the app can enforce one ranked run per UTC day.
• The app stores the selected rashi, move order, deterministic battle result, score, streak, and last-played date in Devvit Redis.
• The live-pulse system stores public Reddit post titles, post identifiers, and aggregate engagement metadata used to select a safe daily topic.
• The app does not request or store a birth date, birth time, birth location, real name, email address, precise location, microphone recording, or payment information.

OpenAI

Rashi Rumble may send the daily scenario label, rashi label, selected moves, scores, and deterministic winners to the OpenAI API to generate short battle commentary. It does not send Reddit usernames, Reddit user identifiers, comment text, birth data, or private messages to OpenAI. OpenAI never determines scores or winners. If the service is unavailable, the app uses local fallback commentary.

How information is used

Information is used only to operate the daily battle, prevent duplicate ranked runs, maintain streaks, calculate community standings, select daily themes, prevent abuse, and diagnose reliability problems.

Sharing and retention

Information is processed through Reddit's Devvit platform and, only for commentary, OpenAI. It is not sold. Game state is retained while needed to operate daily history and standings or while the app remains installed. Aggregated leaderboard totals may not be separable from other players' totals.

Your choices

Players can stop using the app at any time. To request deletion of a player profile or ask a privacy question, contact the moderators through Reddit Modmail.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the game changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
